Production Planning Assistant (Excel Specialist) Part-Time 10-20h

We are looking for a detail-oriented student or part-time professional to support our production planning department. Your primary mission is to maintain, update, and optimize the Excel-based tools we use to schedule manufacturing, track inventory, and forecast lead times. This is a "hands-on" data role where your work directly impacts the efficiency of our shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Daily updates of production schedules based on shop floor progress and new customer orders.

• Capacity Analysis: Updating work-center availability and identifying bottlenecks using existing Excel models.

• Report Generation: Creating weekly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Plan vs. Actual variance.

• Tool Optimization: Cleaning up existing spreadsheets, automating repetitive data entry with formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and potentially building Pivot Table dashboards.

• Coordination: Communicating with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material availability matches the production plan.

Technical Requirements

• Advanced Excel Skills: You must be comfortable with complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and Data Validation.

(Experience with Power Query or VBA is a significant plus)

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot "bad data" or logical inconsistencies in a schedule.

• Academic Background: Currently studying Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Informatics (preferred).

• Language: Fluency in [Language, e.g., German/English].
